Miss Hap

An excellent singer who loves nothing better than to see people having a good time.

Miss Hap has been around for over 15 years hosting Karaoke nights and Piano Bars.  In the last year she decided to get her own show together.  A work in progress she has a fairly old school style with a mix of great songs, from show tunes to more modern, and camp stories.  She likes to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone can enjoy themselves. Course humour and bitching are not really her style, although she has been known to lash out with the old tongue from time to time!

Miss Hap is happy to travel and has appeared as far afield as Bristol, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Workington and Gran Canaria.

Miss Hap feels very privileged that her line of work makes it easy to regularly support local charities.  She has supported many Pride events over the years, especially Pride in Brighton and Hove.  This is a fantastic community event culminating in a big Party at the start of August.  It's really amazing how it brings together people from every walk of life for a big party where everyone can just be themselves.  Long may it continue and, in particular, long may it continue to be a free event that everyone can enjoy.

Miss Hap has also supported many other charity events as well and her focus in 2008, along with Pride, will be the Sussex Beacon.  Let her know if you are holding any Charity events.  If she is free she will be happy to give some additional support.

Rapidly approaching 40 and couldn't care less.  I have always believed that life is for living and you should make the most of each new day.

If you wonder why I have taken up Drag as a full time profession?  Well apart from loking better in make-up - please laugh! - it really is great fun, I get to travel lots and you meet some great people on the way.  How many jobs do you get all those benefits.

If you do see me out and about please don't be shy.  Come and say hello.
